1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a voucher or connecting to the HostelNet WiFi network, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

These terms apply to all users of the HostelNet WiFi service, operated by Hassan Bashir in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Website: https://hostelnet.com.ng

2. The Service

HostelNet provides Starlink-powered WiFi internet access to hostel residents through a prepaid voucher system. Your plan begins from the moment you first use the voucher code and runs continuously until it expires or your data runs out, whichever comes first.

3. Payment and Vouchers

All payments are processed securely through Paystack, a CBN-licensed payment processor. Prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦).

• Payment must be completed before a voucher is issued
• Vouchers are delivered to the email address you provide at checkout
• Keep your voucher code safe — it cannot be re-issued without verification
• Vouchers cannot be transferred or sold to another person
• Each voucher is for single use only

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use our service to:

• Access, download or distribute illegal content of any kind
• Engage in hacking, phishing, or any form of cybercrime
• Send spam or unsolicited messages in bulk
• Stream or share content that infringes copyright
• Run torrent software or applications that consume excessive bandwidth
• Attempt to access other users' devices or data on the network
• Resell or distribute your voucher code outside your permitted device limit

5. Fair Use and Speeds

Actual speeds may vary depending on the number of connected users, weather conditions, and your device. We do not guarantee minimum speeds. Users consuming disproportionate bandwidth may have speeds managed during peak hours.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide 24/7 internet access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, power outages, or Starlink network issues outside our control. Support is available 8am – 10pm daily.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any loss of data or damage to your device while using our network, content you access through our service, losses from temporary interruptions, or third-party websites you visit. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the voucher in question.

8. Privacy

Your use of our service is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

Our refund and cancellation policy is set out in our Refund Policy. Please read it before purchasing.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
